What is GFPS-Polska?
An energetic non-government organization. Over 300 members from Poland and Germany built up one of the most successful NGOs in the region.

Our story
...began in 1994. Students from Poland, who had studied in Germany, wanted to invite their German friends to Polish universities. Now over 20 people a year get a scholarship for a study stay in our country.

Objectives
GFPS-Polska is devoted to achieving greater understanding between nations in this part of Europe. We focus on young people who will create more tolerant societies of tomorrow.

Getting the job done
... is not easy. Raising funds is only one of many problems we have to face. Poor quality of Polish law makes it extremely hard for us to operate smoothly. However, the organization becomes more and more professional. Continuous support we have been receiving from diverse foundations over the years is one of the indications that goals GFPS-Polska is trying to achieve are of great importance.

Structure
Five people make up the board. Nearly a dozen of GFPS branches in the major academic cities form the national network. Over 300 active members make all that work.
